This year’s first release from Mraz Family Farms is a captivating Field Blend of multiple varietals. The result is a sophisticated cup with an almost pastry-like chocolate croissant note, deep maple sweetness, and lively tangerine acidity. It’s a flavor combination you’d be hard-pressed to find in a single varietal, and one you simply won’t find anywhere else.

As the name suggests, Mraz Family Farms belongs to Jason Mraz, the two-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. It is situated in the Morro Hills region near Oceanside in San Diego County, which places it 10 degrees north of the traditional coffee belt. This northern latitude, combined with excellent soil, a unique microclimate, and low elevation, helps produce conditions similar to high-altitude coffee farms in the tropics.
