This Geisha from San Diego offers an elegant cup with sugarcane sweetness, refreshing Citrus, and a delicate tea-like finish. This one’s for fans of washed Ethiopian coffee from Yirgacheffe and Arnold Palmers.

It comes from Mraz Family Farms, which is located in the foothills outside of San Diego county. As the name suggests, this farm is a project of Grammy-winning musician Jason Mraz, who has long produced some of our finest and most in-demand coffees.

This particular lot was hand-picked at peak ripeness and sent to our mill in Ventura. It was then floated to remove defects, pulped, and cold fermented with an additional yeast-inoculation step for five days before being washed out and laid to dry on raised beds for 12 days to a stable moisture of 11.3%.
